it ain't as simple as i thought it would be

one word = college.

while you're in high school you think that college is bam bam bam. you're in and you're out. uh-uh i don't think so. college ain't as simple as i thought it would be. i always thought of myself as the kinda student that'll always succeed and yet how many times have i fallen short of that expectation of myself. its a matter of not only disappointing myself, but my parents and siblings and my alma mater.

i miss ace-ing all the tests/exams/quizzes. i actually miss turning in homework and having teachers on our back for not doing 'em. none of that in college, i tell you. i learned it the hard way. studying the night before and half-ass studying certainly don't cut it in college.
