The talk of the day at UH has got to be the Jesus preacher that came to campus. I'm guessing his intention was to spread Jesus' word about homosexuality. But surely, he stirred up more controversy rather than get his message out. I'm guessing that with this whole bill about homosexuality, he figured that a university would be a great place to spread Jesus' word. I think he was wrong, a university is a place where students are much more opinionated.
Just like Candace said, preaching about Jesus is a good thing to do and he had the chance to touch so many people, but he was doing it in such a non-Christ like way. He was screaming at the top of his lungs, picking on students, and being so rude about everything. It attracted a huge crowd at campus center and had students voicing their own opinions. The highlight of it all is probably when this lesbian couple came out and made out right in front of him. There were a number of students voicing their opinions about their disagreement and this guy started to think that there weren't any strong Christian students here. The Christians that I do know at UH surely wouldn't act the way he did.
But anyway, his lecture finally came to end when an older student (that he called grandma) told him to go home and a younger student kinda flicked his head. He was asked by security to leave. Hmmm. What a day. We were almost late to math class.
