journey towards self improvement

i know, late on the new year's resolutions. but better late than never.

  • hair-- grow my hair at least till my waist. i really miss having long hair. the last time i actually had hair up to my waist was in the sixth grade :( i must refrain from cutting and coloring because my hair is already dead looking as it is. i'll probably use pantene pro-v beautiful lengths or maybe sunsilk.
  • scars-- rid my legs of all the hideous scars from constant scratching. i promise to moisturize everyday and use bio oil religiously. i'll probably pick up some of the roll on scar remover things from walmart too.
  • physique-- i'm at a point in my life where i'm fairly content with my weight. i refuse to gain any more. its just that my body has completely lost its tone. i have to admit, i am completely out of shape.
  • diet-- i have probably the crappiest diet ever. my boyfriend has been dieting for so long and has given up white rice. i know i've been limiting my rice intake and my stomach has getting used to it, but always eat fast food :( i'll go back to eating yogurt and teas in the morning.
  • relationship with God-- i picked up a new Bible last week and so far i've been enjoying it. i must admit that although i have been attending a Catholic church all my life, the Christian lifestyle has been intriguing for me and i have been thinking about attending services at my boyfriend's church for a while now. i feel there is nothing wrong for me to be studying the Bible, just as Christians do because both focus on a Jesus as our Savior.
  • attitude-- i have a tendency for comparing myself to other people and i know i must stop
  • health-- i guess this ties into diet a lot. i have not been getting the adequate amounts of fruits and vegetables in my diet. and thus i get sick quite often. i suffer from constant headaches due to my sinus pressure and always feel fatigued. once i establish a health lifestyle, i hope that my health improves.
i hope i follow through. i always set (new year's) resolutions for these kinda stuff but i always fail. it's probably the lack of self-motivation. but since i already started with getting rid of my horrible scars, why not work towards improving my body & well being. plus, maybe with all these improvements in appearance, i'll have the confidence once again to go to the beach in a bikini! ;D

I used Pantene Pro V for the longest time and it kept my hair really healthy. I used to straighten my hair all the time and still wouldn't get split ends. & I wouldn't get trims or hair cuts very often at all =/
I highly suggest Pantene! :)

Do you have eczema?
When you were talking about scars on your legs I thought of myself. I have a bunch of blotchy scars on my legs from scratching so much from my eczema. I need to do something about getting rid of my scars too

oh and I do the same with comparing myself to others & I just drive myself crazy.

How are your new years resolutions coming along?
